Early Childhood Special Education Program
Every child in the Early Childhood Program has an IEP or Individual Education Plan. This plan consists of goals the Early Childhood staff will work on together to meet the child's exceptional education needs. These goals are reviewed and changed on a yearly basis.
Early Childhood students must qualify for services in one of the following eligibility categories: Autism, Emotional Behavioral Disability, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Intellectual Disability, Traumatic Brain Injury, Significant Developmental Delay, Deafblind, Orthopedic Impairment, Other Health Impairment, or Blind and Visually Impaired.
Students with Speech or Language Impairments are also eligible for Special Education services with our Speech Therapist, but do not typically attend the Early Childhood Program.
