Grafton Parents!
We're looking for some incredible folks to help fill some volunteer roles with the Booster Club.
Our most pressing need is for someone to shadow our Treasurer, assist her, and train to eventually take over the role. The role of the Treasurer is to keep detailed financial records of all spending/funding activities of the GABC, to maintain cash bags for each seasonally used concession stand, to ensure GABC maintains its status as a non-profit, to file all applicable permits and taxes, to provide monthly income/expenditure reporting at monthly meetings or as needed. This is an elected position and is part of the GABC Board.
2023-2024 GABC Open Roles:
- Concessions Committee: Work with the Concessions Chair and Committee members to ensure that concession stands are fully stocked. Assist with ordering, purchasing, and stocking new products. May assist with opening/closing of concession stands, as needed.
- President-Elect: Shadow and assist the President with all Club duties.
- Corn Roast Committee: Support the Corn Roast Chair in duties related to staging, planning, and execution of the Corn Roast event.
- Corn Roast Chairperson: Execute the planning, staging, and execution of the annual Corn Roast. Schedule regular meetings with committee chairs and Board members to plan events. Ensure all aspects of the event are planned and documented.
- Entertainment Coordinator: Help plan Corn Roast entertainment (music), etc.
- Food Coordinator: Help plan Corn Roast food: ordering, etc.
- Activities Coordinator: Work with individual HS Athletic teams to coordinate Corn Roast activities. i.e.: Volleyball booth, Corn Roast 5K Run/Walk, Cheer and Dance Team performances,etc.
