I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in elementary education and special education-learning disabilities. I began my teaching career in Sussex as a special education teacher at the elementary level, and then became a classroom teacher at the third and fourth grade levels. I received my Master's Degree in Reading/Language Arts from Cardinal Stritch University in 1994, in addition to my Reading Teacher license. I have taught in the Grafton School District since 2006 as a special education teacher at Woodview Elementary, Kennedy Elementary, and at Grafton High School. My husband and I live in Cedarburg with our three children, Allie, Matthew and Madeline. In my free time, I enjoy going to sporting events for my children and playing with our puppy!
