I believe that immersing oneself in the culture is truly the best way to learn a language. My goal is to help my students develop a love for language, an appreciation of world cultures, and to learn to apply their language skills and cultural insights to the real world. Over the years I have taught 6th Grade German through Advanced Placement 5. I earned my undergraduate degree and elementary teaching certification at UW-Milwaukee. I had the opportunity to spend a year at a German University developing my language skills and learning the culture. I spent the next four years living and working abroad. I love languages, and I love helping students learn them. I earned a secondary teaching certification and a Master's Degree from Concordia University.
