The beauty, power, and scope of the English language are so consequential that I have spent 3 decades in Grafton learning how to help students internalize the value of their reading and writing capacity. My post-secondary education at The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC), The University of Stirling (Scotland), UW-Whitewater, and Marian University (Fond du Lac), prepared me to think deeply and critically about the mission entrusted to me: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
