Hello! My name is Betsy Pelischek, I am the school psychologist for John Long Middle School & the Early Childhood Team. Before re-joining the Grafton School District in 2024, I worked for Cedarburg School District (8 years), Grafton School District (2 years), Whitefish Bay School District (6 years), and Milwaukee Public Schools (1 year). Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to work with students ages 3-21. I earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 2005, and Master's & Educational Specialist degrees from UW-Milwaukee in 2008.

They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community." When away from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We are an active family who enjoy sports, being outdoors, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends/family.
