Education has always been a driving force in my life, inspiring me to seek knowledge and positively impact students. I earned my Bachelor's degree from UW–Green Bay, majoring in Psychology and Human Development with a minor in Business Administration. This provided a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, development, and essential organizational skills.
To deepen my expertise, I completed my Master's and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology at UW–La Crosse. These studies shaped my commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments.
I began my career as a School Psychologist with Milwaukee Public Schools, where I spent seven rewarding years collaborating with students, families, and educators to address academic and behavioral challenges. I then joined the St. Francis School District, continuing my work as a School Psychologist while also serving as Director of Student Services. This dual role expanded my impact by aligning student support with district-wide goals.
Most recently, I served as the Elementary Director of Special Education in the School District of Waukesha, where I gained valuable leadership experience and worked to ensure students with special needs received the support they deserved.
Outside of work, I’m grateful for my wonderful family. My husband, also an educator, and I are raising three amazing children who inspire my dedication to education every day.
I'm excited to begin my second year with the Grafton School District and continue supporting its mission to help every student thrive. I look forward to collaborating with Grafton's dedicated educators, students, and families to uphold our tradition of excellence and innovation.
