My name is Ally Karpin. I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  With 10 years of experience in the classroom, I am passionate about helping students find joy at school. I believe in creating an environment where students feel comfortable and curious. I love teaching ELA, as it provides me with the opportunity to guide students toward finding their voice through reading, writing and daily discussions.

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom to two amazing daughters. Our family loves spending time outdoors. We enjoy hiking local trails and frequent visits to the beach! I grew up in Ozaukee County and am excited to be joining the John Long Middle School Community this year. I am looking forward to working together to help your student succeed!
