Emergency / Closing Information

The Grafton School District is using an emergency notification system in the event of a school closing or other emergency situation.  The system works directly with Skyward Family Access information and allows you to select how you wish to be contacted, either by phone, email, and/or text message.  Make sure you log into Family Access on a computer and update your text numbers. Please note that this update cannot be made using the Mobile Family Access app (on a phone or tablet).

For school closings and delays, an email and SMS text will be sent (no phone calls).  Local media and the school website will also post closings and delays.   For school emergencies and early dismissals, a phone call, email and SMS text will be sent.

How To Update Information:
Login to Family Access.  (Contact your school office if you do not know your login information.)

1) Click on Skylert on the left menu to update your information. If you have multiple students in Family Access, select any active student from the top student selection list.  Your information on this screen will update for all of your children. 

2) To add a text number (s), make sure you enter the numbers at the bottom of the screen in the“Text Message Numbers” section. In the top Contact Info section, verify, update or delete your phone numbers and home email address.

Non-School Hours 9PM - 6AM

General:  General Office notices ( not closure/emergency notices )

Disregard the column of check boxes for “Survey”.

Each guardian can add an additional 9 telephone numbers, 7 email addresses, or 4 text numbers.
