Response to Intervention (RtI)

What is Response to Intervention (RtI)?

"RtI is a way to systematize high quality instruction, balanced assessment systems, and collaboration. It is this systematic process that will ensure that all students have equal access to supports that will ensure their long-term success. RtI will create collaborative systems among educators; assist in using data to make informed decisions about students, staff, and resources; and provide a framework for seeking success for all students." (Wisconsin Dept. of Public Instruction Guiding Document for Response to Intervention)
